International Container Terminal Services, Inc.’s (ICTSI) flagship Manila International Container Terminal (MICT), the Philippines’ leading international trading gateway, is now capable of handling the world’s largest container ships after taking delivery of three new Quay cranes. With the arrival of the new Quay cranes, MICT is ready to address the pressing demand and volume increase by servicing larger vessels. With the arrival of new Quay crane, Seaborne Const. Corp. was commissioned to put a new Crane Rail for their new Quay crane, contractor was laid out the new crane rail and readied for grouting works.
Technocrete was contracted to undertake the critical grouting works on crane rail bed and crane bolts using chemical anchor and cementitious grout. Application was critical due to the limited time of implementation to augment the arrival of incoming cargo ships. Project was finished on time due to ability to mobilize a highly skilled workforce and experienced to the project site and its commitment to the highest quality standards.
