La Mesa Treatment Plant 1 is a conventional-type plant with a maximum design capacity of 1500 million liters per day (MLD). It was designed by American company Camp, more than 25 yrs.
La mesa Dam water treatment plant was consist of 12 Sedimentation Basin and 12 Filter Basins.
Technocrete was contracted to undertake critical repair of all Tank concrete walls prior to application of tank lining coatings and wall repairs. Rigid deliberation and testing was made for the approval of materials to be use that conforms to water safety standards certifications. Considering not to affects the water supply within the Metropolis, repair was decided to made it by Basin basis only.
