Bangcal Bridge was the Highest Bridge ( 25m) in Cavite and was undergone on structural and retrofitting works due to design and load failure on newly erected 4 columns. Upon careful evaluation and design analysis, all 4 column should wrap by carbon fiber to meet the adequate design load.
Technocrete was contracted to undertake the critical repair works on 4 existing new column by wrapping 12 layer of carbon fiber from top to bottom of the whole column. Epoxy crack injection and crack repair was done to 4 column and improved structural stability of the structure.
